By accessing or using yvcr.com (the “Site”) and related services provided by Yakima Valley Computer Resource (collectively, “YVCR,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to these Conditions of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2) Eligibility and Accounts

You may browse most of the Site without creating an account. Certain features may require registration. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate access for suspected misuse or security concerns.

3) Permitted and Prohibited Uses

You may use the Site for personal, lawful purposes, including learning about our services and contacting us.

• Do not attempt to interfere with the Site’s security, integrity, or availability.
• Do not scrape, harvest, or collect data (including emails) without consent.
• Do not upload, post, or transmit malicious code or unlawful content.
• Do not impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation with YVCR.
• Do not abuse interactive features (Store management, Item Tracker, Gallery uploads) or attempt unauthorized access.

4) Content and Intellectual Property

Except where noted, content on the Site—including text, logos, graphics, and media—is owned by YVCR or our licensors and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes. Any other use (including copying, modifying, redistributing, or creating derivative works) requires our prior written permission.

5) Third-Party Links and Services

The Site may link to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices. Access them at your own risk and review their terms and privacy notices.

6) Privacy and Security

We describe how we collect and use information in our Privacy Notice. For security, we maintain logs (including IP addresses) and employ anti-abuse measures (e.g., rate limiting, CAPTCHA, confirmation prompts for destructive actions) to protect the Site and users. Some legacy experimental sections are being deprecated and removed; current core features include the Gallery, Store, and Item Tracker.

7) Disclaimers

The Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error‑free operation, or that the Site is free of harmful components. To the maximum extent permitted by law, YVCR will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenue, arising from or related to your use of the Site. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed one hundred (100) U.S. dollars.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless YVCR and our affiliates, officers, and agents from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising out of or related to your use of the Site or violation of these terms.

10) Changes to the Site or These Terms

We may update the Site or these Conditions of Use at any time. Changes take effect when posted with a refreshed date. Your continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes to how personal data is handled will also be reflected in the Privacy Notice.

11) Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Venue for disputes will be in state or federal courts located in Yakima County, Washington.
